A secret recording of President Jacob Zuma and Leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters which was leaked to our news desk implicates the 2 involved in corruption.
In the voice recording, two people, which have been confirmed at forensic lab to be that of Mr. Zuma and Julius Malema, were heard discussing truce with an offer of an amount of 200 million rands as compensation for Malema. Malema fully agreed and promised the president to give him a little time to retreat slowly from criticizing his government.
The meeting took place at Mr. Zuma’s controversial private residence in Nkandla.
The 32 minutes recording which covered a wide range of issues with damning revelations will be released in our next edition.
This was part of a corruption investigation expected to contain damning allegations against South President Jacob Zuma which was blocked to be published last Friday.
Mr Zuma applied for a court order to ban the publication on Thursday.
